"I am from England but lived in Australia for several years before moving to the Matakana area in 2011. I have come from a background of working with animals, mainly as a Veterinary Nurse in Sydney.
Most of my work is figurative, particularly of animals where I like to explore shape, volume and form, using clay, plaster, recycled materials, with wire being my favourite.I have always been a keen artist and while in Sydney I was a member the Workshop Arts Centre, where I attended workshops and exhibited in a number of student and member exhibitions. More recently I have been painting with acrylics exploring scale."
