Our native rainforest and bird life is my continuing source of inspiration. There is such a richness of light, colour and atmosphere to experience, standing quietly in the depths of the bush, especially after a downpour of rain when a wet stillness hangs in the air and all of nature seems poised to issue forth yet again.
Kevin studied at the University of Canterbury graduating with a Diploma of Fine Arts with Honours in 1970 and at the University of Auckland with a Post Graduate Diploma in Fine Arts in 1996.
